Bobby Dassler is a short hair dachshund and host and founder of ‘The Sausage Social Dublin’. The sausage social has grown from only 20 doxies at the first one in 2018 to 65+ doxies every month. The meet up has become a platform for other Dachshund owners to learn more about the breed, as well as, allowing their dogs to socialise and in some instances give the owners a reason to meet other people with similar interests. The meet-up have built a strong community of followers using instagram and Facebook. Bobby and his sausage social pals have been featured on RTE as part of a series around Irish people and their animals.
This social butterfly can be found exploring new places from brunch with friends, art exhibitions, shopping, festivals or staycations in Ireland, he really has the best life. He has the ideal platform for brands wanting a small breed dog to endorse pet products, services or clothing. His go to during the summer months are dickie bows and bandanas but once autumn and winter come he loves rocking his sweaters, turtle necks and cosy coats.
