If you’re looking for versatility, the Domestic Shorthair may be the cat for you. It is one of our most eclectic cat breeds, with many different colours, sizes, and personalities. Domestics make great house pets, though whether they are loud or quiet, depends on the individual. Fortunately, all tend to be unified by a pleasant character and a natural tendency to get on with other animals and children. All of our cats are obedience trained and well-socialised, so you’ll never have to worry about them misbehaving on set.
Domestic shorthair cats are not actually their own breed and instead are a categorisation of mixed breeds and ancestry, they take their place as the most common breed in the UK by far. By looking at a domestic shorthair you are likely to be able to identify characteristics from previous generations and breeds, this gives them a natural charm and ensures that each domestic shorthair cat at Urban Paws is as unique as it is captivating.
The training process for cats is heavily dependent on their personality and affinity toward the training regime and thus have to be tailor made and implemented from a young age.
